Today was... an amazing day. In short.

I started off with a dream of Chris- good way to wake up!!

Then I went to PT where they killed me. Not the best way to start the day.
But it gets better.

Stopped by URI and got a promise of letters of recommendation from Marta and Sperry, and dropped off requests to Laux and Lebrun. Marta made me go into detail about my motives and I appreciated her candor in making me tell her why I wanted to go to law school instead of med school. When I was done, she was suitably impressed and agreed wholeheartedly to write the letter with flying colors. She said I (and Carolyn) would be great at anything we decided to do, we just have to make up our minds. She has a new dog, Ruby, who is soooo cute!!

I spoke to Caitlin, who got into MS vet school and is defending her thesis in May. I'm so excited for, and proud of, her. We're going to go out soon and discuss all the crazy things that have happened since the last time we talked.

I spoke to Lori, who agreed to draw out my two cool design ideas- yin-tang fire and water horses, and a tree horse. I can't wait to see what she comes up with and talk with her about our awesome t-shirt-design company ideas.

Overall, an awesome day..

So, I'm looking into the different law programs available and now that I am starting to breathe, I'm looking into Environmental Law. I always get so frustrated when I think of how much humans impact the environment and the burgeoning number of species endangered or extinct, and I hate the possibility of a future without rhinos or giraffes or tigers in the wild! I'm so proud of my grandparents' "preserve" in MA.
